Ask Wyse is a website to help older adults and their families find care, activities, and deliveries.
We’re starting Ask Wyse to help people find all of the services they need to age gracefully, in the place that’s right for them.
For people who want to age-in-place for as long as possible, that means helping them maintain their home and connect with events, groups, and activities in their community. It means helping people find at-home care, or a residential option when that is the right choice.
Our mission is to help people find all of the services they need to age gracefully, in the place that’s right for them.
Of course, COVID-19 changed our plans, as it did for many others.
It’s now imperative for older adults to stay home as much as possible. Most of the 300+ community programs for older adults that we had connected with in Tucson are adjusting to the rapidly changing situation.
We’ve refocused to help people find all of the services they need to stay safe, supplied, and connected to their community while they’re at home.
We want to help local governments and businesses stay connected with their constituents and customers throughout this crisis, and make sure that older adults can #StayHome feeling secure, supplied, and connected.
We want to help businesses stay in business during this difficult period. Any local business that relies on in-person interaction has been hit hard by COVID-19, and they’re doing everything possible to adapt. For at least the next 6 months, we will provide discounted listings to all local businesses that are adapting to help older adults #StayHome. (We always list non-profits and government services for free)
Our team comes from backgrounds in healthcare, government tech, cybersecurity, and design. We’ve all taken care of older family members and faced the uncertainty of not knowing where to start. We are building Ask Wyse as a one-stop-shop for families to navigate the process of aging.
