Volunteers provide transportation to shopping and appointments, as well as shopping assistance for the homebound. Companion sitting is available to give family caregivers a brief respite.
Who is this service for?
Caregiving services are available to older adults who are disabled, ill, or frail. Transportation is provided to those who are ambulatory but cannot take public transportation. Please note that companion sitters do not provide medical care or personal care.
What are the steps to access this service?
Call (520) 297-6049 to complete an intake screening. You will be scheduled for an in home evaluation to discuss available services and complete the intake paperwork. As all services are provided by volunteers, hours and availability of services varies. Most services are provided weekday mornings and afternoons.
